Can you tell us a bit more? Does Camtasia say it's still producing? Is there a progress bar?

I did a screen share with Joe Beaubien and we recreated the issue. He couldn't figure it out after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting, but it's definitely a Mac specific issue, because he was able to successfully export the file in Windows.

Thanks for your patience in helping us find the cause here. I'm assuming he's bouncing this off the dev team to see what we can find?

I think so. To clarify, the update to Version 2 solved the original issue. Version 3 issue was noticed after importing a file that was originally created in Version 2. I still need to try creating a new project in Version 3 and see if the same problem occurs.

I'm running Camtasia 2 V 2.10.4 (91842) on macOS 10.13 and have the same issue. After starting the export the temporary file appears as well as the progress monitor, after it shows 100% and closes the exported file disappears. Any update in regard to this issue?

Hi Alex;

Please see here for compatible operating systems for Camtasia. As Camtasia 2 is not supported/compatible with Mac OS X High Sierra, if you install the trial version of Camtasia 3, available here, and you open a project that is local to the Mac HDD and then try sharing to the local Mac HDD (note, your production will have a watermark), do you have the same issue?
