When I recorded a video and converted it into MP4 at 720p, my video is very blurry.

Can someone please help how to fix it ?

You want to record, edit and produce videos at the "Same" resolution.

If you recorded at full screen on a 1920x 1080 or larger resolution monitor.Rendering it at 720 will reduce the quality.

To add to Joe's point, you CAN record at a larger monitor and edit/export to a smaller resolution.

The example the video uses is recording at 2560x1440 and editing/sharing at 1280x720 dimension, which is twice the dimension.

TechSmith tutorial makers avoid blurry videos by using zooming/panning to keep the video scale at 100 percent.

If I may ask, Soumya, what dimensions are you recording at?

so you're not capturing the full screen?

if capturing a 1920x860 area, have you tried producing at 1920x860?
