The saving is very slow, cant open the saved project

Hi, a few things:
1) your media should be fine, thats all stored in the recordings folder, you can find this location in camtasia preferences, on the recording tab, down towards the bottom.

2) if your project file didn't save, check and make sure you have enough disk space, if you run out, all kinds of bad things can happen.

3) if you use time machine, check and see if a previous save is in time machine.

4) if you use dropbox, go to the dropbox website and look to see if a previous version exists in dropbox.

5) if you have no other backup, you'll likely need to re-do the editing process.
     Some good advice is to save regularly while you edit, and to use a backup system like dropbox or time machine so that you have copies of the files as you go.

5b) if re-editing the material is necessary, you might find it interesting to look at the project file of your corrupt project. To do this, go to the finder, then right click on your corrupt camtasia project and choose "Show package contents", from here look at "Project.tscproj" this can be opened in any text editor, like textwrangler, Atom, visual studio code, etc..  with a little luck, this file is not corrupt, and you can use it as a guide for what you need to re-do.
