the system cannot find the file specified

After installing SnagIT 13 on Windows 10. I tried to uninstall it from my system and cannot remove it. I keep getting "Error code (2) the system cannot find the file specified". Seem like I have to buy the new version or never get to use it again. I have version 12 and was just trying to test 13.

Hi there

You likely need to contact Support. But you might check this out before you do.

I've seen it before with other applications where I had the installation file in a specific location such as C:\Downloads or whatever. And if I deleted the install file, the uninstall process balked in a similar way because it couldn't locate that initial install file. So you might check that aspect.

You shouldn't need tech support.

SnagIt's looking for the original .exe install file you downloaded. If you know where it is you can run that file by double clicking it.
 

Then, when it runs. You simply hit Remove


If you cannot find that file. Just Download SnagIt 13 again and run it.
