SWF is one of the most dominant flash container formats and you can find its wide applications on different websites. It is not supported by Apple’s iMovie. A better option to edit SWF in iMovie is to convert SWF to iMovie most compatible format Apple InterMediate Codec first. Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac is the utility I’m using and would like to recommend.
