Hi m i have used you guys for over 3 years now and loved the product, but in the last 3 months the speed in which i can upload a jing video to my premium paid screencast account had decreased like 300% ... it now takes 30 minutes + to upload a 5 minutes jing video when it used to take me like 5 minutes.. its very frustrating because i make about 6 to 10 instructional videos for my staff per day and upload for them. Now I have to either get another software like this or do it by hand and type it all out because its not a viable option to wait 30 minutes 10 times a day... you guys have AN UPLOAD PROBLEM! i have seen man others complain about this please fix it...

I have also had my connection providers come to the office and they assure me it is not my connection.

thanks

Took me over a hour to upload a 4 minute video. Are you serious?

Hey Christine,

Are you able to upload to other sites, such as youtube, without any issue? Do you see better results when uploading to screencast.com manually, or with the desktop uploader?

Uploading to Youtube is same very slow. I don't know about desktop loader or manually. I just used the Snagit Editor to upload.

Is there another way?

Ok I just downloaded desktop uploader. Saved the video on my computer and am uploading it to screencast with uploader desktop. This time its only a 3mins video and it took about ten minutes to upload which is better than one hour+

Same here. It is taking me so long to upload a 2.5 minute video. I use jing to help clients with wordpress all the time and lately it has been timing out and uploading soooo slow. I have a pro account too.

techsmith what is the solution here. I have a premium screencast account.  I have the latest version of snagit for mac.  uploads to screencast a slow enought to really mess up my day.  If I cannot rely on your service I, and I'm sure others, will have to see other solutions.   Are you going to address this?

Hi TechSmith. I would like to let you guys know that the speed is still unbearable. I have fiber optic broadband. 17 Mbps down, 50 MBps up. A 4.5 minute, 460 MB video recording shouldn't take 45+ minutes to update. I uploaded the same video to Youtube in 3 minutes (of course it was rejected because Youtube does not support the swf video format). As a premium subscriber could you please increase the bandwidth?

A side note. the same 4.5 video I uploaded takes about 3-4 minutes to actually show when you load the page for the first time. What I see is a white box. If you look on my account you'll see that I've uploaded many videos. Most of them lag simply to appear (white box issue) and then once they are available it takes an unusually long time for them to start streaming.

Love your service. Makes sharing recordings and screenshots super easy, but the speed is unbearable.

The upload speed is still super slow. I'm looking at other free screen recorders. At first I thought this was built-in to get people to buy the premium content, but even people with the paid version are saying the same. What's the deal? Someone mentioned a desktop uploader. Where do I find that, and does it make it faster?

I agree. Upload speed is very poor here in Australia from fibre service. Streaming is also very choppy. I'm wondering whether my Pro account is worth renewing at this point...
