This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Strange Save message after upgrading to the latest version of Camtasia 3 for Mac

After the most recent updates to Camtasia 3 ( 3.1.2), I get this message every time I try and save a Camtasia project. I have only imported stills and videos into Camtasia as I always have (I am on macOS 10.13.2 High Sierra). Any ideas?

Marty, I also reported this last week here in this thread: https://feedback.techsmith.com/techsmith/topics/strange-save-message-after-upgrading-to-the-latest-v...
So from that feedback, I conclude this is a known bug with no fix yet. Perhaps with the next update? The message really means nothing; just say yes and save your file :)

I also have this issue. I believe it's because I have my project files saved on my mac in my Google Drive location and i use the Google sync utility that runs in the background and syncs all Google drive data between my hard drive and the Google cloud. I have seen similar posts about this for people using Dropbox which would make sense. I think it's a Mac OSX thing and not a Camtasia thing. In any case, I just click "save anyway" to get past it but I have to admit it's annoying
