Just got CS 8, haven't even opened the software and explored it. But will today. love how TechSmith keeps me upgraded very cost effectively. Every darn time i upgrade I say this CS version has all I will want to use, you darn guys come out with a version making me decide, Gotta have that" and "poof" goes my money. Keep up the great work.

CS 8 is working fine. I often use it because for quick routine editing it is faster than Hitfilm 4 Pro, Premiere Pro CS6, Corel VideoStudio X9 and Avid Media Composer- all of which I have. I'd suggest to do some extra work with the chroma key feature. I know CS8 isn't a heavy duty video editor, nor is designed to be. However, refining the chroma keying ability would make it more appealing. The controls are bit clunky with only a slide bar for adjustments. Results are inconsistent and too often unsatisfactory. Sometimes, this forces me to go to one of the more professional editors. But I'm lucky to have such, many people aren't given the high prices of those editors. Except for VS X9 which I think CS8 periodically outperforms in some cases.
