I have recently started making software training videos for the company i work for to help internal staff and customers. Apart from recording the screen and adding some zoom in/out to areas of importance, what other elements make up a great video of this nature? I was thinking of the following: A Large Mouse Icon (to improve the follow me effect) Background Music A Good Voice Over Title Slides for Each New Section Smooth Transitions between Each Section Would you add more annotations as the video plays? I have just done a screen recording ready to add voice over and titles and effects (as i use camtasia, after effects and premiere pro if required) and wondered what people are doing these days to to engage their audience and produce a great video. Thoughts? Here's a quick link to the screen recording i have captured and edited ready to add audio, titles etc... I want to work out before i re-record the video if i need to use a bigger mouse icon, and in videos notes etc... Cheers
