(Snagit 2019 on Mac.) Is it just me, or are the tool icons in Snagit 2019 fuzzy? All of the tools look like this, in both dark theme and light theme. I'm not sure, but I don't think it was like this before I deleted the Snagit .plist files (part of an attempt to fix another problem).

Not the biggest problem ever, but a bit annoying. Is it just me?

See image below. See how there are fuzzy grey crusty bits, especially on the top sides?

curious. it looks to me like the arrows have a dashed outline instead of a solid one. Does this happen if you change the tool theme to something other than Basic?

Changing theme does not remove the effect. It's not a dashed outline; it seems to be pixelation as if there were some semi-transparent padding around the edges and a grey background is peeking through. I think this started after deleting the .plist files and then re-starting.

I don't know HOW it could be related, but could it have something to do with me having both Snagit4 and Snagit2019 installed, and deleting/rebuilding the .plist files for both?

If you right click in the quick styles area and choose "Reset Default Quick Styles", does the problem still appear?

Running Snagit 2019 2019.0.1 (94005) on macOS 10.12.6.

I think I may have a clue about the "fuzzy" display.  On my iMac-27 5K screen, it looks great -- not fuzzy.  But if I just move the SnagIT window to my ASUS-27 (20248x1152) monitor, it does appear a bit fuzzy in the SnagIT Quick Styles panel.

But if I do a screen capture on the ASUS-27 using the built-in Mac tool, it looks OK, even when I magnify it by 300%:

Oh, nice catch, JMichaelTX!

OK, I have a Mac Mini with two monitors: left is a Dell U2410 (1920x1200) and right is an HP w2207. The fuzzy look happens when the Snagit editor is on the LEFT, but it looks just fine when I drag it over to the monitor on the RIGHT.

So it seems like it's some kind of resize/redraw issue.

Good catch indeed! I'm seeing similar behavior as well with different monitors. We'll take a look into this
