Our company does a lot of recording of mobile device screens (particularly iOS devices) and we need to show users where we tap or swipe on the device when we record training videos. Can you please consider including the Touch Gesture feature on Camtasia for Windows?

Are you referring to perhaps icons that might be included in the application?

Have you seen these?

Hi Rick! Thank you for replying. :)
Touch Gestures is currently a feature for Camtasia Mac. It helps viewers follow your on-screen movements by adding subtle touch gesture animations, such as double taps and swipes, to your mobile screen recordings. So when you record videos, a small animation appears everytime you've tapped or swiped.

Interesting to slowly learn about all the features that Mac version has but PC version doesn't. And vice-versa.

I've never been a part of that millionaire club so have never owned a Mac and likely never will. But it's interesting to watch from the sidelines!

Wondering if perhaps someone on the Mac version might record all these gestures against  a hot pink background, then export that as an MP4 that could then be added into the PC version and knock the background out using the "Remove a Color" feature. And incidentally, that feature also used to be a Mac only feature. LOL

Cheers... Rick :)

Yes! We PC users want some luxury features too! Why let MAC users have all the fun  :)

Take Care Rick and God Bless You!

Need gesture FX for the Windows version of Camtasia as well,  even if that was recorded by Techsmith Capture for iOS.

Try this link, see if it will work for your needs.

It's a workaround, but it's beats what you have now.

Thanks for the workaround, but for me it is not worth the extra work... It is pretty bad that even iOS Capture can not record these movements.
