Trying to import a Sparkol / Videoscribe whiteboard video. Camtasia says I need latest Quicktime. Did that but Cam still won't upload my Sparkol video. Any suggestions anyone?

Instead of attempting to import, try using Camtasia Recorder and recording the video as it plays?

Cheers... Rick :)

Thanks Rick -- thought of that -- gives a slight degradation, but better than nothing.  Since my earlier query, I opened the Videoscribe file in Premier, and then produced it as an avi. file.  That way Camtasia is at least able to read it in.  I'm hoping though that there might be a less arduous way of getting these files directly read into Camtasia.  Maybe the brains at Techsmith will know.

I had the same issue. VideoScribe produced an AVI directly that imported into Camtasia.

Camtasia would not import a MOV or WMV of the same file, evben though all other video editors play these fine.
