How do I turn off OneClick / Capture Window in Snagit 12?

Since we now have to assign hotkeys directly to profiles to get the capture we want without having to jump through an extra hoop, I decided the One Click was basically pointless to me now and it becomes a screen annoyance. But it appears there is no ability to just turn it off, right?

So I guess this is both a Problem as well as an Idea. The problem is that I am unable to turn off One Click. The Idea is to allow an option for turning it off.

Hi Guys,

There is a way to turn off the Capture Window with Snagit 12 by clicking on the Snagit system tray icon and toggling the "Capture Window" menu item.

Additionally, if you open up the Snagit preferences, there is a section in the "General" tab with three radio buttons, one of which allows you to only show the notification area icon (the Snagit system tray button), which in turn hides the Capture Window.

I do concur with Manny, though (big surprise :)), that it's worth giving the Capture Window a try as it gives you quick access to your profiles while also giving you a way to do the quick, unplanned captures.

I hope this helps out, I apologize for the lack of screenshots explaining how to turn the capture window off (the irony is comical, but I only have my Mac at the moment).

Snagit 12 - Hide Fly-out Capture Window?.

Love Snagit, can't stand the "Fly-out Capture Window" on the desktop.  Please give us a way turn this off in Snagit 12!  Hot keys work fine.  I use Snagit constantly, but don't appreciate it hijacking my desktop.  Imagine if every application you installed used this?  Your screen would be ringed with fly-outs and and you would be inundated with stuff popping up every time your mouse touched the edge of the screen (the fly-outs in Windows I are already annoying enough). Otherwise great upgrade, but please, please give us a way to turn that off or I'm going to have to go back to v11.  Thank you!

Anybody else hate the new interface on version 12 of SnagIT?  I want the old interface.
