I accidentally turned off the option to train my voice for captions in Camtasia Studio 8. How do get back to this so I can do the training?! I don't get the prompt any more because I selected "don't show again". Help!

Speech to text is a actually Windows program.  You can train Windows and bypass Camtasia.
Microsoft's Speech to Text program works as a plug In to Camtasia. That's why you don't need to train it directly through Camtasia.

On Windows 10 you can type Speech Recognition into the search bar and open the Speech Recognition  Control Panel.

Then open,  Train your computer to better understand you.

I use Dragon Naturally Speaking myself.

Windows speech recognition makes a lot of errors. You can train it till your blue in the face, but it will still make a lot of mistakes. Microsoft needs to scrap or seriously overhaul this program. In my opinion.

Update.............................

You can re-enable that Speech pop up window so you can access it within Camtasia.

Go into Tools/Options/Programs.........."Show all Tips" will have a "Square" in the check box if you disabled a pop up window. You need to click that box so that the Check Mark appears.
