Two 'Datastore' folders with contents - how to handle those?

One way or the other I managed to have 2 datastore folders (both in 1 subfolder)
Both have a .sdf file and .snag files.
Date sorted: files within the first ends Oct.24, 2018 (sdf is that date and some .snag files also, all other stuff is older)
The 2nd one ends up with today's files (.sdf of today).

I guess I can simply delete the first ones.

I use SnagIt on a laptop as well.
Saved files (i.e. the images, videos) are stored within a SnagIt-folder on OneDrive (personal), they are then accessible from PC and laptop.

I guess(!) it is reasonable to consider to have the Datastore folder on OneDrive as well.

Anyone out there having experience with this way of storing files and .snag files?
Probably a dumb question, but before messing things up...

Thanks!
