1)
I often need to screen capture zoomed parts of ...a print captures!
I would like to be able to do it in the SnagIt Editor, with a custom zoom level.
But obviously and as designed, it is not permitted.
Could you add in the SnagIt Editor Preferences,
a checkup option to enable/disable screen captures inside the SnagIt Editor, please?
2)
In the SnagIt Editor, when I crop manually the screen capture,
I often use the middle Left, and then the middle Right handles.
I would like to be able to crop both sides simultaneously
in order to delete the same amount of pixels.
*This could be done by maintaining the CTRL key down.
* It must also work with the middle Top, and the middle Bottom handles.
Thanks

When it comes to capturing SnagIt screens there's one thing missing (in the windows versions at least) - you can't use SnagIt to capture the menu items in Snagit Capture. I had to use the native Windows Snipping Tool and then crop to size to create this image, which a PITA when you're trying to help another SnagIt use

On the mac this should work in theory, but the menu blocks the capture from happening, so it's not actually possible currently.

Nope, 'fraid not. :(

I ask because it certainly seems I'm able to capture SnagIt with a SnagIt menu showing.
I just used SnagIt to capture these images:
Cheers... Rick :)

Yeah, but that's in the Editor window. I can do that. but not in the Capture Window Preferences. I just get a beep from Windows
