Unable to encode audio when exporting.

When I export none of my mp4 files have audio. I can only run audio when I click on an html file in the folder. I want to just have the adio and video contained in a single file. No matter which export option I choose, it only exports video even when I put a check mark in the encode audio box in the options. Bummed because I just upgraded!

Can you here audio in that player with other files? like a mp3 etc.

What version of Windows are you on. Windows 10?

Windows 10.  I am using the built-in movies and video player that Windows has. It opens it automatically when I click on the .mp4 file. I saved it as an .avi file and it had the same problem.

First thing to confirm is that the volume is on/up for video player.

With the movie/video player open, Right-Click on the sound icon in the taskbar/notifications and then
click "Open Volume Mixer.

Check that the player volume is on ( no X through the speaker, and it is turned up.

Can you player a different audio file in the player?

Is it just your produced videos that don't work?

That worked. There was no X through the speaker but the default level was set all the way down. Odd that the volume shows 100% in the player but was set at zero in the mixer. THANKS!
