Unable to get free trial for Snagit 2018 for Mac.

Unable to get free trial for Snagit 2018 for Mac. The sign in is greyed out and clicking the Free Trial within the Snagit window takes me to a blank tab. Logged into my TechSmith account . However, the products page only allows to register for a software key. How do I get the free trial?

Hi, 

Sorry for the trouble with Snagit. Are you using Google Chrome when trying to begin your trial? We've seen an issue where a blank tab opens but doesn't allow you to complete the sign in process. 

So, depending on which browser you're using, this is roughly what you should see: 

1) Exit Snagit
2) Relaunch Snagit from your Applications directory
3) You should receive this screen: 



4) Click "Sign In..."
5) Your default browser should open up with a prompt to sign in
6) Once signed in, you should receive a dialog similar to this (might be slightly different if using Google Chrome): 



7) Clicking "Allow" should open Snagit again with the trial started.
