Hey there, i am also facing trouble...It's 30th June, when i installed camtasia latest update released on 29 June. By the way i have installed camtasia update released on 5June and also camtasia update released on 16 June. With the previous two updates the problem was different i.e. after installation (with the default settings) it didn't start and when i checked the process in the task manager it showed me suspended for hardly 1 or 2 seconds and then disappeared from task manager process list. For your knowledge i have installed the previous two versions more than 10 times on my PC and every time i gave a restart to my PC but the problem i just mentioned was the same

Configuration of my PC:

intel i5 (4th Generation)
Windows 10 professional (64-bit)
RAM (8GB DDR3)
Graphic Card (Nvidia Geforce 610)

Did you try clearing registry? I've had to do it with 2020 for some different oddness. Instructions from support.

-make sure CamtasiaStudio.exe is not running (make sure by opening Task Manager using Ctrl + Alt + Delete)
-Hold the Windows key on you keyboard and then hit the R key to open the Run window. Type 'regedit' (no quote marks) and hit OK.
-browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio\20
-right click on the 20 folder and choose Export. Save it to your Desktop (this is a backup)
-Now Right click on the 20 folder and delete it
-try starting Camtasia
