Uninstalled Snagit during an upgrade. During the uninstall, I opted to save my captures. Now, I cannot find them. Where are they?

I uninstalled Snagit during an upgrade. During the uninstall, I opted to save the captures, tags, etc. Now, I cannot find them. Where are they?

They would be unsaved captures and stored in the datastore.

If you didn't change the location of the datastore.The default location is ................................

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\TechSmith\SnagIt\DataStore

If you have difficulty attaching to the old location, here's the registry hack to reconnect to it
  1. Completely exit Snagit so it is not running in the background (the Editor too; anything related to Snagit needs to be closed)
  2. Goto Registry Editor (press start and type regedit) 
  3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  4. Find the Software folder, then TechSmith
  5. Click on the 18 folder then in the right-hand pane scroll down to "DataStoreLocation"
  6. Delete that entry.  Yes, delete it.
  7. Relaunch Snagit and it will ask you where the Datastore is. 
  8. Select your folder
