Unpredictable behavior of hot spots in html production published on SharePoint

I am working on an E-Learning with several chapters. The idea is that after each chapter but also from the chapters overview, the trainee interacts via the hot spots and thus determines which subjects of the E-Learning he/she wants to view.
With hot spots within the E-Learning I mean e.g. 'going back to the chapter overview' or 'play (further)'. These examples repeat often in the E-Learning and mostly you see more than one hot spot (parallel) at the same time on the time line.

Unfortunately I have to publish internally and therefore I cannot use Screencast.com for this E-Learning. To produce I used the custom production settings, MP4 plus including smart player and I have uploaded all files to SharePoint. In my locally created html files the hot spots interacts as designed, but on SharePoint the same hot spots behave differently. My web browser is Google Chrome.

If interactivity can't work properly on SharePoint, the E-Learning will be less successful.

So perhaps there are similar experiences and someone has devised a workaround?
What I hope for is to receive the right custom production settings to produce an E-Learning that will be shared via SharePoint. Below you can see the settings I used so far.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Sorry you are running into issues.  Are there any hotspot interactions at all when you view your production on Sharepoint?  My guess is the Smart Player can not load the XML file that contains all the hotspot data.  Can you open up the Chrome dev tools and see if there are any messages in the the console or look at the network tab to see if something is being marked red?

Any other specifics would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks for your answer. I do not have such a dev tool, but in XML document file (_config) is see when opened in notepad that there the hotspots information is there. When I play the video there are working hotspots but it does not work properly. In between I have simplified my project, but still no success.
Maybe I should raise a Techsmith support ticket and share my project with them.
