Unreliable recording of system audio

I have noticed that I can't always count on Camtasia recording my system audio. A few times, when I record a session, it first successfully records the system audio, then when I start a new recording session, the system audio track is silent. Is it possible to display an audio meter in Camtasia that shows the input from the system audio? If not, I would strongly suggest that Camtasia incorporates one on the next release. I am horrified by this problem because I have had to discard some of my recordings. Now, I have to have a separate dictaphone to record audio from my speakers just in case Camtasia fails again to record the system audio.

Camtasia 2020 has one, you would have to be able to see the recording toolbar while recording to be sure its registering audio.
If it is, and you still aren't capturing it.Then its a bug or hardware issue.
At least you'llĀ  have a meter for a reference point.

Fantastic! I'll need to upgrade to the new version. My recordings are too valuable to lose and I can't do a re-take.
