update to 2019.1.1 build 2860 problems

Unable to use the iupgrade  link provided TS. Two different computers have the same problem.  I was able to finally upgrade by going to my account, selecting the latest product and downloading the file. The executing the app and now its build 2860.

I've been using snagit since version 1 ... very disappointed.

Okay thanks for pointing this out, we'll check it out.

FYI, you can always download the latest version of the product from our website. The trial version isn't any different than what the update notification gives you.

I had the same issue, ie. attempts by clicking on the the auto-update failed (2 or 3 times). I used the same solution, ie. downloading the current version from TechSmith web site and installing it manually.

As I have also been a Snag-it user from the beginning, Version 11.4 is the best for basic picture and video capturing.
