Uploading to YouTube dramatically reduces quality

I noticed that after I had uploaded an HQ video to YouTube, the sound quality was dramatically reduced. Glitches and mumbling throughout the movie.

This only happens if I have Camtasia Studio 8 upload the generated .wmv file to YouTube. If I, instead, have Camtasia Studio 8 save the file to disk and upload that file myself, everything is fine.

Can you please check and try to find a remedy to this problem?

I would just like to add that as a recent user trialling Camtasia Studio 8, I have noticed the same problem. I have seen some other comments saying that directly uploading to YouTube using precompression means that a penalty to audio quality is expected; however the video quality is fine (which would be considerably more data/computationally intensive) - so why not audio as well?

I've since discovered per above that generating the file to disk first is fine, however I don't know if the closed captioning will be recognised by YouTube once it is uploaded? At any rate, it seems an unnecessary downside that audio quality is noticeably poor while using the direct upload method.
If this could be addressed in subsequent updates that would be appreciated by many I am sure.
