Use basic Jing features (Free version) without signing in

I love Jing and have used it in my previous companies. At my current place, they block access to screencast.com. Therefore I cannot start using Jing even though I have a valid Jing account since Jing.exe cannot reach screencast.com. Is it possible for you to allow Jing.exe to run without first signing in?

Hi - thanks for using Jing. Glad it's useful! Have you tried Snagit, Jing's "big brother"? It does everything Jing does but has some additional handy uses, like reworking screenshots after you capture them, trimming video, creating animated GIFs.

Snagit is free to try: www.techsmith.com/snagit and only costs $50 for a perpetual license. A TechSmith login is required for the trial (but it doesn't point to screencast.com so hopefully would not be blocked for you). Once licensed, no login is required.

Hope you can give it a try and see what you think!

I have SnagIt as well, but believe it or not, I prefer the interface of Jing a lot more than SnagIt for simple taking screenshots and copying them.

Intriguing to hear that...what's your Jing workflow?

I ask because I talk with a lot of people who aren't yet using Snagit's instant capture-share workflow, which can be configured pretty easily but is not its default.
