I have a Benq PD3200Q Monitor, its native resolution is 2560x1440. How can I record my entire screen without changing  my screen resolution for 1080p? As you see on the picture if I record I will miss a lot of my desktop, thanks!

have you tried using Recorders "select area to record" function [look in the custom option]?

you might also try pulling the area handles out to reach the full screen size?

I've never had a monitor larger than 1920x1080, so I'm flying blind here; just guessing

if the above doesn't help, perhaps this technique could be helpful ...

You can either click on the Full Screen button. If  you click on Custom you can drag the capture area  or as a final option, just type the Dimensions. See below.

good point re typing in dimensions; since my monitor is only 1920x1080, can't enter larger dimensions

I use the custom with recent pull down, That works fine. It just has issues often with saving a  1440p recording (boom) with no recovery file. It should have a HD 1440p and HD 2880p entry under wide screen  (16:9) capture.
