Using Jing inside a remote desktop session

Hi,

I've just installed Jing and started using it but immediately come across a minor problem.

I'm using this in my development environment which for a number of reasons is accessed through remote desktop. When I do that the top of my remote session has the Windows Remote Desktop Connection Bar, which hides the Jing 'yellow sun'. I have to use the system tray icon in order to use the product.

Definitely not the end of the world, but it would be useful to be able to position the 'yellow sun' somewhere else?

Cheers,

Dave

Hi @ david.wellman ,

Simply drag the Sun around to a new location.

And therein lies the problem. I can't see the sun to drag it anywhere. It is completely hidden behind the connection bar.

Are you able to see the notification area? There should be a Jing icon there you may click to produce a capture menu. Maybe you can work with it that way?

Cheers... Rick :)
