Hey. I use Camtasia, thanks. Very often, when recording a screen in Windows, the cursor disappears. If I open for example the Windows Device Manager, the cursor immediately disappears completely. Only actions (clicks) are visible.I use Windows 10 pro 1803 and Camtasia 9. I tried to download the trial of Camtasia 2018 - no changes.
How to solve this problem? What influences this behavior of the cursor?
Tell me please. Thank.

Did you ask the same question a year ago?
The then answer from @Rick was techsmith advised him to change from.trec to.avi

Would like to think techsmith actually fixed it by now.

The text cursor and mouse pointer are both controlled by mouse movements and clicks.  In control panel, set mouse properties [pointer options], and click-select "Show Location of pointer . ." I don't think it will fix anything but may help you see if the cursor actually disappears or is just hiding from you.
