Video button is not highlighted and not any option. Any reason why? Using Chrome. Thanks!

You are talking about the video icon here in the GetSatisfaction forums? Does your question pertain to Camtasia or SnagIt?

Ahhh, okay. Now I get it. This must be what SnagIt looks like on a Mac. Sorry, but I'm a big ole Mac ignoramus.

"VIDEO" is just a column header. "Screen" and the microphone buttons are the choices for video. Try clicking "Screen" to record something. Click the microphone button to enable recording audio.

Hi Jerry,

If you're looking to record your screen, the button you would want to click is the Screen button:

The "VIDEO" button you see is in fact not a button at all, but is meant to be a divider between the image capture options and the video capture options. Sorry for the confusion!

P.S. Rick, this is the Snagit for Google Chrome browser extension, which was designed for Chromebooks but also works on PCs and Macs running the Chrome browser. :)

Ahhh thanks for the info! As it looked a bit foreign to me and the little buttons in the upper left corner of the browser didn't look like PC buttons, did the the ole assume thing. LOL

I am with Rick as I am a true Mac ignaramous but would love to get one someday for learning both versions of this software on the two OS Systems. I try to pay attention to the post for Mac and suggestions but without having one it is hard to follow along with at times.
