Video is longer than content

Hello. I'm new to Camtasia, and I've just recreated my first video. For some reason the video continues 10 minutes after the content completes. Any guidance on how to shorten the timeline would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you have a rogue item on the timeline past your main video edit you need to delete. Fully zoom out on the timeline to see what's there.

That's probably it, Jeremy.
I'd suggest searching at the +10-minute mark and don't zoom too far out, because those pesky "rogue" items like a little annotation or audio snippet will look only like a tiny vertical line.
You may have luck if, after the video you want, you "draw" with your mouse over all the tracks that look empty, to see if something turns up highlighted.

a quick way to find such a item is to use ctl-end keys to navigate to the end of project, then ctl-shift-9 to zoom-in max
