I'm publishing videos with interactivity from Camtasia to Screencast. So far, i can see my video "pause" everywhere when playing (that's not happening when i publish on local computer) and also, each video ends about 1 or 2 seconds from the end not letting us finish our last sentence (you can see here) https://www.screencast.com/t/jqZLHsxz...
thank you for replying at richard@extrn.ca

I watched your video; it did not "pause" at all during play; but it did end abruptly and too soon; the pauses you experienced may have been due to internet speed issues?

some thoughts ...

it looks like you published with video set to auto-play [not pause at start]; this is now broken [very recently] when viewed in most browsers [like Chrome]; recommend you set video to "pause at start" when producing

the premature stop may be caused by your end-of-video hotspot; be sure the hotspot is 2 seconds long and is positioned at the very end of the video; you may need to add some frame extension at the end of the project to accommodate the hotspot; it is a best practice to have the hotspot not overlay any narration; also, when producing, set keyframes to 1 second, that gives best hotspot behavior

That appears to be a Screencast  Buffering/Streaming issue.

I played the video and it was froze up on me a couple of times. One time the audio quit playing for a second or so.
It works fine if enough time has elapsed for the video to load. But the second the White Play indicator catches up to the Gray Download indicator. That's where the video freezing and audio skipping starts.

In general, I can stream most HD videos without issue.

I can replay your video after the glitching with no problem.Only because it has had time to load.

I don't know if this is a problem that will improve soon.Screencast has bad days/hours from time to time.
I would give it a few hours and see if the problem straightens itself out.
I closed the video and reopened it 3 times. It froze up on me all 3 times.

Some follow up,
I live in the country so DSL is about as good as it gets for internet service for me. Cable doesn't exist and I'm not about to pay a ton of money for satellite internet.A service that goes down when storm clouds blow through.

My download speed is 10mbps which is more than enough for HD video. That video still won't stream when I first open it.
It's odd that Screencast videos don't pause when buffering. That they actually keep playing and glitching along.I've never seen a website do that before????????WTH
Normally, the video freezes 100%. Content continues to download and the video resumes when there's enough data for smooth playback.

Yet for some reason Screencast plays on with a Jumbled Confusing Mess of a Video.THAT'S JUST WRONG! For so many reasons. I hope this is a glitch and not normal behavior.
