Video presentation 'talking head' next to powerpoint slides with table of contents

Hi there. Can anyone please tell me if this is possible? There have been similar threads asking about a video presentation linked to a powerpoint slide deck such that the slides are synced to the presenter's words. This I can do by exporting the powerpoint slides as a movie and simply using the presenter video and powerpoint 'video' as two separate video tracks.

However, what I'd also like to be able to do is to click on a table of contents such as that depicted here - so as to be able to jump to any section in the video of interest, rather than having to necessarily sit through the whole thing. I tried putting in Markers which correspond with the various topics in the discussion but couldn't work out how to then hyperlink to these markers on screen.

I am using Camtasia 3 for Mac.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

David

The markers are indeed what you want. They only work as a clickable table of contents in two cases however:
  1. If you put your video on screencast.com, you will see a checkbox for making a TOC from the markers
  2. Or if you choose "Share->Local File..." and add the "Export as web page" checkbox, plus the "include table of contents from markers" checkbox. Note, this produces both your video and a folder full of HTML and Javascript that you would use to put on your own hosting site, taking advantage of the TechSmith SmartPlayer to do the TOC stuff.
There is not currently any way to get the TOC using youtube, vimeo, etc (from Camtasia anyway)
