I created a Camtasia video and uploaded it to my YouTube account. Later on I decided it wasn't a very good video so I deleted it from my YouTube account but it still shows up when I search for it on the Internet. Is that how it's suppose to work? Once it's posted it's there forever?

This would seem to be a question for YouTube and not TechSmith.

But just hazarding my own guess here, I'd bet that it's just a delay in synchronizing servers used by YouTube.

I'd wait perhaps a few hours and perform the search again.

Cheers... Rick :)

I would also check to see if there's a setting in YouTube that allows you to block videos from being viewed or searched for. We use Vimeo for hostingĀ and it has that capability. We use it because we don't want anyone other than our customers to be able to find our videos online. Your situation may be different, but a setting like that is a handy way to hide a video without having to delete it.
