When capturing a video from basic Windows Media window with audio, the Snagit 'record' popup window (containing the red record button & connected to the highlighted periphery of recorded video) blocks my access to the Windows Media PLAY button. I can't start the Windows Media clip playing unless I expand the Snagit capture area far enough to the right that the RECORD button will popup to the right of the Windows Media PLAY button.

Hey jlf,

I am sorry you are having problems recording Windows Media Player. I think I have a trick for you that should be able to help you achieve what you are trying to do. I made a little video describing the process: http://www.screencast.com/t/FOmeMdooM. I hope it helps!

Thanks for using Snagit, let me know if you have any other questions or if that trick didn't work for you.

Andy
