Video capture using Snagit COM server

Snagit has a COM server interface that allows text and static images to be capture from, for example, a VB script. This is great for automatic software testing.

What it cannot do and what I would find more useful would be to be able to capture video via the COM server. My script commands Snagit to start video capture on a selected screen area then some minutes later, typically when the test has completed, Snagit is commanded to stop the capture and store the video to a specified file.

What about it?

You are in luck Pete! Today we just released a new update for Snagit 11 and it supports controlling video recording through the Snagit COM interface. Here is the link to a page that describes what is new and has a link to download the update:

Great! Where can I find the documentation for the Snagit 11 video COM server? I have the file "Snagit-11-COM-Server-Documentation.pdf" but it does not appear to contain any information about video capture.
Thanks
Pete

Oops! I screwed up the link. Sorry, I am still getting used to doing posts in Get Satisfaction. This should work:

We now have the Snagit COM samples and documentation shared on Git Hub http://www.techsmith.com/enterprise-r... . We also archived the older samples and documents there. Some new samples have also been added as well as two comprehensive samples to demonstrate all of the interfaces for image and video capture.
