When I record a screen cast (Camtasia studio 7.1.1 build 1785) (I have tried many different settings, all very standard), my audio gets cut off at the end because the video runs faster than the speed in which I recorded it. In other words the video records slower than real time but after recording it compresses back to real time. This cuts off the audio, which is the length if the laggy video.

I uploaded the video below where you can see the problem. If you skip to the end of the first video I count off the timers with the values I saw when recording, but you can easily see that the video of the counters is way ahead of my voice, which is cut off before I can finish counting. The second video is better.

PLEASE HELP ME!!! I've read every help manual, blog post and website on the internet and I can't get this to stop.

EDIT: Here's another video (even easier to see) -- it's still rendering on YouTube but it should be ready soon: http://youtu.be/7mB7TsZ3WlM

EDIT: MORE INFO: Exact same problems when adjusting the TSCC codec to "faster compression" vs. better compression, and exact same issue when recording to AVI instead of camrec.
