Hello Mr. Urdaneta,
Thank you for the feedback and request.
I am sorry you feel like you "got suckered" into getting Snagit. I wanted to make sure you understood that your Jing Pro service will still be available for a full year.
Here is a link to the details:

Thank you,

Another +1 for me! We use Vimeo for all our videos and it would save me a tremendous amount of time if we could just send it directly there. :)

I also use iMovie and it will post to Vimeo directly. I'm always wasting time looking for the Vimeo upload in SnagIt, before I remember it doesn't do the direct upload to Vimeo.
Any estimate on when this will be available?

I keep all my tutorials on Vimeo, like many others I assume, so it's a really important feature.

Vimeo PLease! As a teacher I use Snagit for lessons but YouTube access is denied to students on our network. Vimeo is open. Pretty Please!

I am considering to use Snagit as the preferred screencast tool in a team of up to ten teachers. Vimeo supports HTML 5 playback but have no FTP-support it seems therefor it would be nice if Snagit would support Vimeo soon. Does Screencast.com deliver HTML 5 playback?

+1 Vimeo as well.
I use the Vimeo API for serving up client video to their own sites but also use it for tutorials.
Here is their API link: https://developer.vimeo.com/
Thank you, TechSmith, for considering this.

Yes, for those of us who really care about the quality of our capture video, Vimeo is the way to go. Youtube compression codecs are not anywhere near as good as Vimeo's. I'm still waiting for a plugin.

Is Vimeo output on your SnagIt roadmap? We've just purchased multiple licenses of SnagIt and have now found out that it doesn't do this - not good at all :-(

Why is the support for Mac Users of Snagit and Camtasia so far behind. By "behind", I mean years. Those of who have loyally paid for the applications deserve as much as PC users.
When will VIMEO output be available for both Snagit and Camtasia 2 for Mac????????
Can you at least let us know if it's on the horizon and if so, an ETA?

Yes I agree. Can you please give us an ETA of when we can expect to have Snagit Share to Vimeo?

To everyone who is wanting to see this happen I would advise posting this in the (Ideas) area of this community when making your post and put this as a Requested Feature and see how many votes we can get for this option. I know it is something a lot of users would love to see implemented. I do not work for TechSmith as I am just a user (Champion) like you all are.
I do not use a Mac as I am and have been a PC User and TechSmith Software user for many years now. I can say that for the PC and Camtasia 9 we have the Share to Vimeo but when it comes to Snagit 13 we do not have that over the Mac Users out there and it is not available for the Mac as an Output that I am aware of currently.
With that being said and knowing that SnagIt 13 and SnagIt (Mac Version) both have the ability to record and share video then it would truly be nice to see the Vimeo Output implemented. I mean if you have the ability to record and share the video then it would be great to share it straight from the software output without having to do it manually after your recording in my opinion.
I hope this clears up some difference in the PC and Mac Versions and that TechSmith and users will come together to get some votes on this to possibly have this feature in the future. Thanks for posting everyone and I hope this helps and you like and please post back what or if you have posted in the Ideas Section as I would vote it up myself. Have a great day/night.
Best Regards ~ Fred.

Jeez! This is a crisis. Have to waste time and efforting chaining through Final Cut Pro X to ship simple stuff to Vimeo where we keep all of our tutorials. Play fair, Snagit. I'd give up all the new features in Mac 4 for just this one.

I'm still hoping for vimeo integration for snaggit as well. I'm withholding upgrading until that happens.

Does Tech Smith even monitor this? 6 years and no response? We need this output. Many entities are blocking You Tube so all the more reason to offer the Vimeo output. Why not Vimeo for SnagIt?

OK..you Windows guys got your Vimeo. I got "suckered" into Camtasia 2018 for Mac BECAUSE I saw the Vimeo icon on the promo. (I would have done it anyway, but...) Vimeo support for MAC please.

I really need Vimeo as well. Will not renew my Camtasia license and may ask for refund because there is no help for this. YouTube does not provide the protection Vimeo does. Not happy as all. Now I have to figure out a work around as I have to upload tonight! anyone have help?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled SnagIt Output for Vimeo.
Is it possible to integrate Vimeo as an Output like e.g. Dropbox for SnagIt Videos?
I mean that was an option in previously versions of SnagIt. I use only Vimeo for Screenvideos so it would be much easier for me to share my videos.
