When looking at german version 2018 of your Snagit help, it is inconvenient that you lost the guidance  you need to transfer the features that Snagit provides. In version 13.0 of June 2016 is still available.
This orientation and visual help for the user has been lost by omitting the supporting screenshots. The visual system for describing the functions has been brutally removed.

After the fact "A picture is worth a thousand words", you no longer want to serve your users. The process of visualization that makes functionalities visible and unambiguous is a very important process for the user.
Please check your style guide on the use of screenshots and icons. An important aspect of the design of user documentation and user help is the layout of the document.
What does the user see when he takes a quick look at the user help? Screenshots and icons are important stylistic devices for documentation. They make it easier for the user to orient themselves in the document so that they can quickly find the information they want and can use functions quickly and comprehensibly.
