I am using Camtasia 9 on Win 10. Camtasia Recorder recognizes my mic and I can record video+audio. When I want to record my voice using Voice Narration, however, the voice indicator does not move and nothing is recorded.

had that happen a couple of days ago... closed Camtasia, reoppened and it self-corrected...no idea what was wrong. The correct mic was set as the default input

Thanks for your comment--- I re-opened Camtasia and even restarted my laptop but the issue did not resolve.

@Lon8384 if you also have the same problem, please select "me too" from the top-right corner. If more people raise this question then it is more likely to find our answer. Thanks.

I've been having problems in Windows 10 with the system not recognizing my attached gear. I was going to blame my new Lenovo docking port for this glitch, but sometimes it seems that Win 10 really needs a nudge (wiggling the jack) and also checking out the audio input/output in System Controls to make sure you're using the correct input. (This happens even though I don't touch the plugs).

I have same issue. The screen recording works well but voice narration doesn't work. I  tried to change microphones then nothing to be changed
