Hi,
I've juste made the switch from Camtasia 8 to Camtasia 9 and I've just realized that you can't record voice narration in an uncompressed audio format anymore?
Maybe I missed something in the settings...but it looks like you MUST save to an .m4a format...
It doesn't sound "awful"...but I'm using the voice narration on a daily basis for work and I'd like to be able to record in an uncompressed format...like I used to in Camtasia 8.
So...did I miss something?
Thank you and have a nice day!

Well, since we can't record in an uncompressed audio format...and since the noise removal is unusable, I'm recording my voice narration is Camtasia 8 again...
Disappointing...

I was wondering why the noise reduction wasn't working for me! I too went back to 8 to do my audio recordings.

Any chance that in the future we'll be able to record narration to .wav, rather than m4a?

You can export audio as .wav

If you have audio on more than one track. You should lock other tracks so that you export one track at a time.
Unless you want to export all the audio as one file.

When you produce the audio in Audacity. Produce it a wav file.
This Is/Was Camtasia favorite format for years. As far as I know, it still is.

I believe Joe meant that you should "disable" other tracks [not lock them]
