Wanted: better control over which window a new recording goes to

What I want: Better control over which window gets a new recording when there is no active window.

Why and how: The issue is when I've got several camtasia windows open in the background, and I'm working in another application. I decide to record.

Camtasia is going to make some decision about which of its windows gets the recording.

When I'm done recording, and hit command-shift-2, I get the "resume/complete" window, with a chance to enter a title. So I enter a title for what I recorded, and hit complete.

And it winds up ... I'm not even sure this was the last window that I used. Maybe it was, but I thought that a different window was last used. Even still, in this case, I am recording some footage for an upcoming segment, that isn't going into any of the current segments -- so I want it in a different window.

In other words:
1. If I hit record from a window, then I want the new footage in that window.
2. If I hit record from either the menu bar, or command-key short cut, then I want it in a new window, or in a user specified window.
3. Camtasia may not be active, might not have any visible windows, might not have been used for 15 minutes, so "The last active window" isn't appropriate -- especially if I have been paging through windows. In that case, the last activated window might not be the last used one (for example, I know I was editing in a different window when I realized I needed to film something.)
