This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Snagit / Chrome Scrolling Capture Problem

Greetings!

I recently upgraded from Snagit 10 to Snagit 11 and now the web page snatch doesn't work anymore.

It now picks the bar at the top.

As well as the scrolling no longer works.

Anyone else noticing this problem?

Best regards - Simon

This is a known issue.  It does not happen with IE.  I'm not sure if it's specifically with Chrome V32.x or not.  You'll notice that scrolling captures do not work very well either.

Oh, well that's good news though, that it's a known issue.

Tried in IE and the web page capture works great. The scrolling is a little bit off though as you mentioned.

It's probably something they're working on then, thanks for the respoonse!

Hello Simon,

Thank you for your feedback.  Sorry for your difficulty.  I'd like to understand what you are trying to capture when you refer to "web page snatch."  Can you provide more details?  Are you trying to capture the content on the web page only without the browser navigation bar or something else?

Precisely that ;)

In IE it works as usual. Though the scrolling capture does not.

But as you said, the capturing of the content. Without the browser navigation.

Best regards

Thank you again.  And just to clarify, you are running into this error when you use Chrome?

Thank you.  I've been searching through our archives and it appears that this is a known issue although most are reporting errors with scrolling, but not the issue you experienced with the browser navigation bar.  I'm going to add your comments to those different discussions so hopefully you can find some workarounds or fixes like others have.
