What does the chain look like when the dimensions are "locked" in the Camtasia Recording Tool?

In Camtasia 8.6, when I select "Record to screen" to open the recording tool, I need to "lock" the Dimensions to 1024 x 768. But I cannot not tell by the chain icon if the dimensions are locked or not. When the chain has a break in it is that unlocked? And when the chain is closed and there are 2 lines going to the dimension size blocks is that locked? THANKS!

The chain icon indicates if the aspect ratio is on(locked) or off (unlock).
Locked ( chain is closed and two lines) if you change one value the other value also changes automatically.
Unlock if you change one value the other value stays unchanged
So if I have the values of 1024x768 and I change 1024 to 1280 with it locked the value of 768 will also change to 960 to maintain the ratio of my original size. Unlocked if I change 1024 to 1280 the 768 value will stay the same and I would have manually change it.

Hope that helps

Great - thanks for the clarification. It was just hard for me to discern between if the chain was closed or open and therefore locked or unlocked. But the 2 lines help with that!
