This new version of snag is absolutely terrible. This program use to be so user friendly. Good job in destroying a good product and making it impossible to work with.
Very unhappy.

Agreed! I've been using SnagIt for many years and it used to be simple, quick and light. Last few releases have been terrible!! Takes forever to launch (or won't launch at all)! very slow and clumsy to use.

I've used it for well over 12 years and recommended to dozens of clients as my "use everyday software." About ver 12 or so, they just quit listening to the (literally) hundreds of comments like yours.

What is it you want to do that you can’t?

I'm afraid that I have to agree...SnagIt and the editor have both become "unintuitive" and therefore more cumbersome. As a long-year SnagIt user, it seems that the interface has become cryptic. What's the point is changing for change's sake...a la Microsoft?? Doesn't TechSmith do beta testing to see if the new (and often times unimproved) interfaces are actually an improvement?

And the ability I've lost to be able to log in to my old account hasn't made the matter any better. Again, some testing to make that less of a fiasco would have been wise...but alas, too late now. Creating another "new" account is a poor alternative and did not work for me, although strangely enough I can still get to my old and new product keys without being able to sign in...security issue???
