The changes in SnagIt 2020.01.1 contain many references are made to drop zones. Where can I gain an understanding of what a drop zone is?

I'm guessing here {:>)
I've never heard of them and can find no references.

However, when creating images from templates. You can drag images from the tray onto a template.

Since I've never heard the term until this update.Thats my best guess.

A drop zone is the area where you drag an image in 2020 and drop it in the new templates.

After you drop the image, it then appears in the template. If you need to change an aspect of the image, you double-click the drop zone and you can move or otherwise adjust the image.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe when SnagIt 2020 editor first loads up, there are two images that are open in the editor. One has been there a while and it looks like this:

The other was introduced in SnagIt 2020 and it looks like this:

If you didn't see either of these and want to, click File > Open... and navigate to your Documents >  Snagit folder.

Note that these are live images that are intended to introduce you to the features.

Cheers... Rick :)
