I am using Cantasia Studio version 8.5.2

I am working on audio of my videos.
While making adjustment of the audio of recording, we can find the Ratio,Threshold and Gain(dB) these three parameters in
Audio->Enabled Volume Leveling->Custom settings

I have tried to use it, but I am confused when to use or change these parameters ?
How each of these parameters affect the audio ?
 what is characteristic of each element. ?

Hi el.kolhapur
The volume levelling in Camtasia is what is known in an audio studio as a 'compressor'.
What it does is it changes the dynamic range and brings up the quieter parts of a recording closer in level to the louder parts, so that you get a much more consistent overall level.
Watch out though as it may do the same with background noise.
Ratio, normally defined as 1:1, 1:4, 1:10 etc rather than the 1-30 scale in Camtasia, is how strong or attacking the  compression is, Threshold is at what (lower) audio level it should start operating from, and Gain is there to compensate for any change in level that the 1st two compressor settings may have made, to make it match the original uncompressed level
