I've been using Snagit Mac for some time, and just upgraded to Snagit 2. I see that scrolling capture works in some windows, not in others. Is there anything I can do to add scrolling capture to some apps and some types of windows?

Hi,

Can you provide a few different examples of applications where scrolling capture is working versus applications that are not?

As a general rule, Snagit is pretty successful at capturing any window that contains a scrollbar. However, there are some applications that have been developed in such a way where Snagit is unable to tell if a scrollbar exists. It's usually in those cases that the yellow scroll button doesn't appear.

The good thing is that if you're able to scroll in the majority of the applications you use, then you most likely have everything enabled to let Snagit operate well.

Again, send us a few apps that you are having trouble with and we'll take a look at what might be going on, and if there are any workarounds to get scrolling working.

Thanks for the feedback, we look forward to hearing from you :)

Jason
