What's the difference between Jing Pro and a Screencast.com Pro account?

TechSmith has a number of products including Screencast.com and Jing. Screencast.com is our hosting solution and a Pro account gives you a lot more bandwidth, storage space, and you can create a custom look for people viewing your content. Learn more.

Jing is a content creation and communication tool on your desktop. A Jing Pro account lets you create videos in the more popular MP4 format, can send videos directly to YouTube, and removes the Jing ads from your Jing Pro videos. Learn more.

This doesn't answer one important question: do we need both Jing Pro AND Screencast.com Pro to record and share videos or images over screencast.com? I love how they integrate together but I feel I'm on the trial period at the moment...I don't want it to end :(

There is a completely free version of both Jing and Screencast.com. So.. continue to capture and share on us!

But, if you ever need more bandwidth or the ability to output Jing videos to MP4, you will need to upgrade your account.
