When capturing anything on my screen by initiating Snagit, my screen (no matter if an app is running or not) magnifies to maxiumum view. This does not work for me. I have version 11.140(Build 248) - sep 7, 2012. Is there an update or fix for this? I am running PC for this. Thank you.

Why not update to the latest version? You can try it free for a while to see if it works for you.

Hi Tony;
This is likely caused by DPI scaling in Windows. Please right-click on your desktop and got to Display Properties and in the window that appears please scroll to the Scaling section; in there please set it to 100% (which is what Snagit 11 requires; newer versions should work well up to 150% or so). Once set, please log out/log in or restart the computer and take a test capture.

So I did change my settings back to 100% and did a restart. Still zooms out like crazy.

Hi all;
How many monitors do you have connected to the computer? Are you using Microsoft Surface (or other) tablet PCs? Are you using docking stations with a laptop or just a laptop with an additional monitor plugged into it?

Something to keep in mind is that Snagit 11 is not supported/fully compatible with Windows 10; you can find our compatibility list here.

Is there an update for win.10 in the near future? This seems like an Win.10 bug.

Hi Tony;
There will be no updates to Snagit 11 as development for it ended when we released Snagit 12 (which is also out of development).

Okay Thanks Robert. I'm usingĀ 2 monitors plus laptop and had to adjust all 3 screen Display settings to 100%. Solved and thank you everyone!
