When changing the canvas size have the callouts resize as well

Imagine that you have changed your canvas size to a larger or smaller size ... with same proportions. Once this is done, I have to go back through all the clips and callouts and re-size them manually. It would be nice to have a function or option that will go back and re-size all the clips and callout automatically.

Are you changing the canvas size simply to produce several differently-sized videos? If so, you can set the production size to be different than your editing dimensions at time of production. Example:

1. Your canvas is 1280 x 720.
2. You edit your video to your liking and produce your video at 1280 x 720.
3. You need a separate version of your video (say 854 x 480).
4. You can go through the production wizard a second time and change the production dimensions to 854 x 480, which will not change your canvas dimensions, but rather will render a version of your video at that size*.

If you're instead just looking to change canvas dimensions after you've already done some editing, then what kayakman said is probably your best option. But thank you for offering your idea. A setting to automatically scale all visual media when the canvas size is changed would be interesting.

Good to know ... I like to start my video at the highest res and then dumb them down. At times I accidentally started at a smaller size. IT's just the way I work. I think what kayak man says is right as well ... and i have done that but because you can see how this effect everything at the same time there has been mishaps.

It's really not that big of a deal, not even my FCPX has that capability. It's just an idea. If everyone is ok with the status quo ... I am ok with it. It's usually my mistake in the first place that caused it.

Thanks for the help.
